When you read “I” or “we” on the TENNIS-PLUS platforms, it’s me…

In the field of Marketing and Sales since my studies at HEC Lausanne and the HSG of St-Gall, I then worked for 15 years in a company, where I held the position of Marketing & Sales Director.

My job is my passion! My other passion? It’s tennis!

I was born in 1982 and despite a few tennis lessons at the age of 7, I didn’t really hook up until the age of 32, a year after the birth of my first child. It was then that I decided to take private lessons: my passion for tennis has grown steadily ever since. I now play regularly and have had few breaks from tennis (although I had three other babies along the way – I was lucky enough to be able to play until the last month of each of my pregnancies ;- ). Tennis has become “my” sport.

Tennis has also allowed me to meet great people, in different clubs, but especially at the Tennis Club de Valeyres, near where I live. Spending time with my tennis partners made me realize that we all have the same passion (which we could sometimes almost call addiction), but that none of us did anything (in terms of physical activities) other than tennis.

Among the amateurs who play on the courts, we meet all types of people: from the youngest to the oldest, of different levels and of varied physical forms. Injuries are not uncommon and it is common for a player to stagnate at his level when he wants to improve. Tennis technique is of course the first thing to train, but training and activities outside the tennis courts should not be neglected.

This is why I decided to create TENNIS-PLUS: to allow amateur tennis players to practice their sport on the court, but also off the court. What I want, as you will have understood if you have wandered around the home page of the site, is that people (including myself) can play tennis as long and as often as possible.

At the same time, I took the J+S Sport des Enfants instructor training and I love introducing young people to tennis! I give tennis lessons to young children and co-organize tennis camps during school holidays.

Rather – very – creative by nature, I love imagining everyday objects with a nod to tennis. This is how in the Happy Tennis shop, you will find, for example, jewellery, accessories, decorative objects and stationery items. I also wrote an illustrated book “ABC Tennis” for children from 4 to 8 years old. I create and imagine the vast majority of the products that I sell myself and try to have them produced as locally as possible.
